St. Patrick’s Day weekend is just around the corner, and here at TAVA Waters, we want you to be prepared for a day full of fun, green beer, and celebration in the Mile High City. Read on to learn more about St. Patty’s Day happenings around Denver.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
On Saturday, March 16, hop in an Uber or Lyft with your TAVA Waters neighbors and start your day off in downtown Denver with the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade officially starts at 9:30 AM, but since it’s such a popular event, you might want to get there a bit early. Claim your spot and enjoy one of the largest St. Paddy’s Day parades west of the Mississippi. All ages are welcome to attend the annual event, which features horses and stagecoaches, marching bands, dancers, floats, and, of course, Irish-themed fun. The best spot to see the action is south of 20th Avenue on Blake Street, (renamed Tooley Street for the parade, in honor of the late Dale Tooley, “longtime Denver district attorney, one-time mayoral candidate and full-time Irishman).”
Kiss Me, I'm Irish: Denver St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl
If you’re 21 or older and a pub crawl is more of your scene, tag along to Kiss Me, I'm Irish: Denver St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl. You can purchase your wristband here for $10. On Sunday, March 17, meet at Brother's Bar & Grill to pick up your wristband and bar crawl map. Your wristband gets you into any of the participating bars with no cover, and you’ll enjoy drink specials all day and night.
