June 15-16, Civic Center Park
Whether you want to take part in the parade, the 5K, or the whole weekend, Denver Pride does not disappoint. Featuring phenomenal musical acts, great food and beverage options, and showstopping art installations, the Pride Festival is a celebration of our local LGBTQ community. This year, Denver Pride is including an art installation commemorating the 50-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
June 20, Denver Performing Arts Complex
Who doesn’t love food? Denver’s premier culinary party is back for its ninth year. Enjoy some of the finest offerings from the city’s diverse dining scene in the form of small bites and drink pairings from more than 60 restaurants.
July 5-7, Cherry Creek North Shopping District
Make the most of your Fourth of July weekend with a visit to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Featuring interactive art activities, local food and beverage vendors, and live music, this free arts festival is fun for the whole family. Plus, it’s held in the Cherry Creek North Business District, just 5 miles from your backyard.
All Summer, Coors Field
There’s nothing like the sunshine, the crack of the bat, and the fresh smell of peanuts at a professional baseball game. Come early and come often to cheer our home team to victory.
June-August, Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre
Running from June-August, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival has been a local theater tradition for more than 60 years. Their plays are held at the University of Colorado Boulder in the beautiful Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre. Experience all the joy of classic Shakespeare in this breathtaking local outdoor venue.
Aug. 10-11, Great Lawn Park
Wanderlust 108 is the self-proclaimed “world’s only mindful triathlon,” featuring a 5K run/walk, yoga session, and a guided meditation. You can also browse the exhibits at Kula Market or grab a snack at Wanderlust’s True North Cafe. Check out the full schedule of events here.
Oct. 3-5, Colorado Convention Center
For years, Denver has been the home to the Great American Beer Festival. Held annually in October, this local beer festival sets the standard for American craft brews. If you want to sample some of the best beers in the nation while eating great local foods and dancing at a silent disco, this festival is one you don’t want to miss.
